NOTE FROM NIKKI:
This was the first time we had the pleasure of collaborating with Gibson on their Songbook series. After building so many layers on the album, it felt great to strip these songs down to their rawest form. “Empty Nest” was a bit of a challenge because we had never played it live before, but it was fun to see where the two of us could take it.
